Congratulations to one of our recent additions to this blog, Amy Wood, for being one of five finalists for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize in History. Her book, Lynching and Spectacle: Witnessing Racial Violence in America, 1890-1940, is up against some pretty steep competition. But what an honor!
